WOMEN TRI TOGETHER TRAINING PROGRAM // wTT
Beginning in 2016 and for the years to follow, Golden Gate Triathlon Club was awarded a Women for Tri Club Grant and as a result was able to offer programming for female members and local female triathletes. While the program and name have since changed, our commitment to bringing more Women, Gender Diverse and Non-Binary athletes into the sport of triathlon has not. Our goal is to create a program for all athletes to train, race and achieve their athletic goals.
2021 WTT Spring Program
Are you newer to the sport of triathlon and looking to train with a smaller, more intimate group? The newly revamped Women Tri Together training program could be the program for you.
Under the guidance of Certified Triathlon Coach, Megan Tobin, the Women Tri Together Training Program is designed specifically for those athletes who are looking to complete a Sprint or Olympic distance triathlon and want to focus on their technique in a small, personalized, group setting. This program is open to all women, gender diverse or non-binary teammates.
The program will target the Monte Rio Sprint or Olympic race taking place on Sunday, June 13th; however, should that race not take place, we will plan to organize our own in-person triathlon at the conclusion of the program for all WTT participants, so long as we can do so while complying with any state and local mandates that may be in effect at that time.
This program is great for athletes who are perhaps newer to the sport and looking to focus on their technique in a small, personalized, group setting.

Self-motivated individuals that want to take on the challenge of triathlon training! Ideally you can swim 200 yards, ride a bike and run a few miles but we will also help you learn all three.
The group meets 2-3 times per week with additional on-your-own workouts loaded into your training plan
Workouts will be held both in Marin and San Francisco.
It would be great if we had enough time in the day to do everything we want and sometimes life gets in the way. You will have access to all the workouts for the program and can do as many or as few of the workouts that fit with your schedule.
You will need a bicycle and helmet, running shoes, swimsuit, goggles and a wetsuit. If you don't have these things yet, don't worry! The Coach will cover the basics of triathlon equipment in the beginning of the training program.
