The Golden Gate Triathlon Club serves multi-sport athletes of all ages and abilities in and around San Francisco, enabling them to achieve their athletic goals in a stimulating, supportive and sociable environment.
The Golden Gate Triathlon Club was established in 1991 to support all levels of triathletes and duathletes in the Bay Area. The club has 520+ members currently. We offer weekly training swims, bike rides and runs throughout each year as well as meetings and socials. During the season, the club offers access to multisport clinics for athletes of all levels. We also negotiate new discounts every year with our growing list of sponsors to bring members opportunities to save money on gear, clothing, nutrition and services. Check out the Sponsors and Partners page for current offerings at Sponsors Page. Some of the featured speakers at our monthly meetings have included Scott Tinley, Kate Major, Matt Dixon, Duane Franks, & Bob Babbitt! We also feature speakers who are experts on topics that matter most to triathletes: nutrition, injury prevention and treatment, cycling fit/biomechanics, swimming biomechanics, sports stretching, off-season and race preparation. In addition to sponsors, the meetings and tri-info, the core of the club is group training sessions, support at races, group camping at Wildflower, and a great bunch of fun loving tri-heads to train with!
