GGTC  Ambassador Team 2022 - Are You Ready?

WE WANT YOU to be a part of the A-Team, whether you're a new member or a veteran, the A-Team is a dedicated team committed to making GGTC the best club it can be. If you’re up for taking your commitment to the next level - leading rides, runs, and swims, leading trainings and strength workouts and putting on clinics, owning making this club great - WE WANT YOU! 

You’ll get cool swag, A-Team events, and other great perks and represent the best the club can be. 

Applications for the A-team open on November 4th, and close at midnight, November 10th. You can find the link to apply at the bottom of the page - it will be live during the application window.

NEW FOR 2022, the A-Team will be electing a Captain who will represent the team on the Board and provide leadership to the team as the A-Team Director.  In your application, indicate if you would like to lead the A Team, and you and your fellow Ambassadors will elect the A-Team Director shortly after selection.

Mission Statement

A member of the Golden Gate Triathlon Club Ambassador Team is someone who embodies the competitive spirit of triathlon, displays leadership, integrity, club spirit, and positively influences athletes for the betterment of the membership, the community and the sport.

Team Expectations

A successful ambassador will meet or exceed these criteria:

  • Assist/ Lead/ Attend events - kick-off, clinics, training weekend, club races, monthly social/ membership events and season kick off and ending events.  Group efforts with fellow ambassadors are encouraged!
  • Wear GGTC gear at races and workouts
  • Post workouts - ten or more throughout the year 
  • Post club related activities and tag sponsors on social media (not a requirement if you are not on social media)
  • Track and submit monthly contributions 
  • Watch bags at AP, keep time at Track, and sweep on rides

Ambassador Team Perks

The board enthusiastically provides the following throughout the program or upon completion of the expectations: 

  • An Ambassador team-building event & happy hours
  • Consistent support in generating and posting workouts and events
  • 1-year membership extension 
  • Kit reimbursement (provided at the end of term given completion of team expectations)
  • Additional monthly incentives for exceeding base expectations
