Mt. Diablo

TYPE: RAGE

32 mi 3,946 ft of climb

This may look like yesterday's ride. Indeed the casual observer may opine that this is the exact same strava link. Why is this Ride not categorized as intermediate, or even advanced? What is category RAGE?

Let me tell you.

This is an INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIAL.

It's HOT AS HELL in Walnut Creek. We will start at 6:30 am to avoid the worst of it.

Competitors will line up at 9:30 am at Clark Memorial Swim Center at Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek. At 10am Sharp contestants will leave at FIVE SECOND INTERVALS. Wear your lucky kit, eat your normal race day breakfast, bring you're A bike, dump extraneous weight, and Hammer Northgate. STRAVA output will be gawked at, prodded, analyzed, and disputed by arm chair cyclists the web over.

Me? You all will beat me, I've been off the bike since June. (See making excuses already)

Still got gas left in the Tank? There are provisional plans to bang out a few thousand short course yards at Clark's 20 ln, 25 yd pool. I'm driving, I can hold your gear. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED/ I will DM a link to interested parties.
