Just like Herbie in 'The Love Bug', we're gonna go on a road rally round China Camp! So come join me, Burnsie, for a nice relaxed Saturday ride out in Marin.

Two options here folks: Option A (51 miles), Option B (37 miles).

OPTION A (Longer, start from the city)

Strava Map

Start time: 8:00am from Sports Basement

Distance: 51 miles (83km)

Total Climbing: 2611 ft (796 m)

OPTION B (Shorter, start from Mike's Bikes, Sausalito)

Strava Map

Start time: 8:45am from Mike's Bikes, Sausalito

Distance: 37 miles (60km)

Total Climbing: 1732 ft (528 m)

Once we leave Mike's Bikes, we're taking the 'low road' round Mount Tam, meandering through Larkspur, Ross township and some other nice spots before we stop for a wee coffee break in Fairfax.

Then it's over the hill to San Rafael and off round the coast past China Camp–Woo Hoo. We'll stop for a few photos and 'joke time', then back on the bike. Round through San Rafael, past the ferries in Larkspur, and back over Camino Alto towards home.

This is going to be SUPER fun!

Things to bring: Smiles, water, gloves, lights, stuff to fix a flat, eager legs, dad jokes

Do not come if you are sick, have tested positive for Covid-19, or have been in recent contact with someone who has.

Please text if you are registered and can't make it.

HAPPY DAYS!!!

COVID-19 Special Rules:

- Rides must be limited to a maximum of 25 members per group (including the ride organizer). This means the number of participants will be limited on the signup page. Please only register if you are 100% sure to join. If you need to cancel, please do so as early as possible to allow other interested members to get your slot. Do not write a friend to advise to attend the ride for you. We are required to track attendance and contact details. Our website is the only tool we have to do it. So we count on you to make our life easy and ensure that we stay compliant with the order.

- Before a ride we will ask you to formally register on the calendar. We are required to track names and contact information for all activities. Because we are operating in a special environment your ride leader will check that all members showing up at the start of the ride are registered on the website.

- Although masks are not formally required, we encourage those who feel more comfortable wearing one to do so.

- If you feel sick, please do not come. We love to share a lot of things together but if there is one thing we don’t want you to share it is the virus. Technically we are required to send you home if you show any symptoms. Practically, we count on you to stay home.
