The GG Park Backyard Ultra

Have you heard of the Backyard Ultra?

The backyard ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run the distance of 6,706 meters (4.167 miles) in less than one hour. When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is typically used to recover for the next hour's race.

Join us at any hour from 6am to 2pm for GGTC's own version! 

We will do a number of GGPark loops. You start on the hour and have the whole hour to complete the loop, then rest until the next loop starts.

Prizes will be given for the greatest number of loops and also the fewest during the open time.

There are multiple bathrooms on the course as well as water fountains. There will be support at our picnic area from noon(final!) until the picnic at 2pm. You can leave things in the trunk of a car on the course.
