If you are looking to take the next step in your triathlon training, the Half Ironman Training (HIT) Program may be for you.
Perhaps you have been doing Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons and are looking to move up in distance. Or maybe you excel at either swimming, cycling, or running and are looking for a program to bring refine the other disciplines. The goal of the HIT program is to give you the skills and experience to successfully complete a Half Ironman race, though doing the race is of course not required.
The HIT program will continue to be coached by Coach Cesar Valera. Cesar has 20+ years of professional triathlon experience and 10+ years of triathlon coaching experience. If you have recently been at club events you have likely seen Cesar. You may have also seen him absolutely destroying the course at the Half Moon Bay Triathlon last weekend.
We are introducing a new 16-week option that will conclude with Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz. As 6 weeks is typically not enough to fully prepare for a half ironman race we are giving athletes the option to start earlier and continue training through the entire summer concluding with the Santa Cruz race. Athletes that wish to join for the 6 weeks will still be able to do so.
When: Starting on Sunday, July 28th ending on Sunday, September 8th Goal Race: Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz How much: $200
