Bike to Work Day (BTWD) is a celebration of bicycles as a fun and healthy way to get to work, as well as an opportunity for those who don’t usually commute by bike to try it out!
In honor of BTWD, we are hosting our 3rd annual detour to the top of Hawk Hill to sip mimosas and take in the sunrise over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Meet up at the GGB Welcome Center (Roundhouse Cafe) at 6am to roll out with us at 6:15am. We will stop at the first energizer station (free coffee, free bagels, and bike gear) right before the end of the bridge on the Marin side. The ride will wrap up around 7:30am and everyone is welcome to continue as a group around the Embarcadero towards the FiDi or peel off to go about their morning commutes at any time.
All cycling levels are welcome and encouraged to join on this no-drop ride. We also have a few extra bikes available for those who want to give it a try but don't have the means to do so. Message me directly for more info :)
