CAMINO ALTO HILL REPEATS Cyclist will ride from the Presidio Sports Basement to the base of Camino Alto. Once at the base, cyclists will ride to the top, and descend to the bottom, eyeballing speed the entire time in hopes of keeping close for the remaining 4 base to top laps. Upon Completion cyclists have the option of grabbing Coffee at the Presidio Starbucks located at- 1 Letterman Dr Building C, San Francisco, CA 94129
We will follow the bike ride with a short swim. Only want to swim? Fine. Plan on meeting at the Starbucks at 12:30ish.
Swim:
WARM UP: 200 swim, 4x50 kick [alt 25 free/25 stroke], 200 pull Main Set: Swim one 100 free fast. Record your time. For the next 30 minutes swim at 80% of the original speed. For example, if you swam 1:20 [80sec) you get to add 16 seconds to your interval, so 30 min at 1:35 per 100. Yes I rounded to the nearest 5 seconds, you should to otherwise the math will be impossible. Warm Down: 200 non free. Literally anything but free. Side Stroke, elementary backstroke, underwater 25’s, sculling, drills, 200fly – Anything. ANYTHING.
