Long Run nutrition secrets revealed - how to fuel for long runs discussed , explained, and demonstrated!
I'll lead 7 mile loops starting at 9am at the conservatory of flowers steps, with over half of the loop on trails. We'll loop around about hourly, so will pick up anyone who wants to join at 10am and for a final loop at 11am. Any of the loops can be truncated, so it's easy to dial in your ideal long run distance. I'll keep this as no-drop as possible.
At the end of the last loop (should be about 12pm), we'll go for brunch in the 9th and Irving neighborhood. contact me for early bird options.
What to Bring: ~200 calories of comestibles per hour of running . A stomach with a small (400 calories?) breakfast in it, preferably eaten at least an hour before. Money for brunch.
