Registration is closed

Join us for a Century ride on April 4th, organized by your board members Rob and Felix. We'll start at 8am, riding a total of 100 miles. This is a "drop" ride, meaning that you'll ride just like in the real world. If you're an experienced rider, go for a great time - if you've never done a Century, aim for just finishing. All levels are welcome, we'll try to stay in groups.

This event is free to all GGTC members, we're sponsoring your medal

What do I get?

  • A dope physical finisher medal, delivered to you by Felix via mail or whenever the pandemic ends
  • At least 30,000 XP in Zwift
  • Bragging rights, both virtual and in real life
  • Access to the optional Zoom video call during the ride, where you can hang out with other riders.

Prerequisites: You'll need a smart bike trainer and a Zwift account. If you don't have either yet, Zwift will give you a 30 day trial including a smart trainer - shipped right to your door! GGTC isn't affiliated with Zwift in any way, but that's legitimately a good deal.

⚠Follow the steps below before Saturday morning - if you're even a second late, Zwift will no longer allow you to participate!

How to join

Joining a ride meetup is annoyingly complicated, but I'll break down the steps.

  1. Get the Zwift companion app, available for iOS or Android
  2. Open the app and login. Select the "More" option in the menu at the bottom, and tap on "Find Zwifters". Look for me (Felix Rieseberg) by searching for my name or "GGTC". Then, click on the orange button next to my name to follow me. Sadly, you need to follow me so that I can invite you to the group ride.
  3. Register for the ride here on ggtc.org or let me otherwise know that you'd like to join us.
  4. I will then invite you to the Zoom Meetup and send you the access link for the Zoom video call.

Can I bring a friend?

Of course! They won't receive a medal, but anyone can join us for the virtual ride.

I need help!

Not to worry, I get it - this stuff can be tricky. Feel free to reach out to me at webmaster@ggtc.org or find me on Facebook.
