Come join Ambassador James as he discusses the training, fueling, and pacing strategies used to run over 15 long runs of 3 hours or longer. These included Overall wins at Lake Chabot 30k, NYE 6 hour, and the Jed Smith Ultra Classic, as well as Age Group wins at Montara Mountain Trail Run and Golden Gate Trail Run 30k. We will discuss: - The approaches for racing and training for races of various lengths - Discussion of calories burned vs consumed. - A break down a couple of the ultra races and a couple of the training runs Will include a Q&A.
