Intermediate / Lazy / Volume Ride - SF to Nicasio and back.

Riders will meet at the GGB Visitor Center at 11am Sharp, we will cycle 20 or so miles to Farifax for a longish 10min + drip, ice, Latte etc break. Having refulled cyclist will ascend the short but steep climb up wihtes grade, hit some fast speeds on a nice descent, and plod over a few rollers leading into the hamlet of Nicasio. Pedalers will utilize the democratic process and vote on where to lunch, Griled Sandwhiches in Nicasio, or Brat's in Farifax. The peleton will return the way it came.

Type: intermediate no sweep SOCIAL (6ft apart) we will generally try to cap the pace at whatever the group can move at. We will stop at major intersections, and at the top and bottom of hills to regroup if necessary. Cyclist are welcome to surge off the top, but if you do, and make a wrong turn you're on your own.

Pace:

Intermediate: 15-22 on flats depending on wind. 8-12 on climbs, fast descents.

COVID-19 Rules:

- 6ft social distancing at all times. This applies to regroups AND riding.

- Limited to a maximum of 10 members per group (including the ride organizer). Please only register if you are 100% sure to join. If you need to cancel, please do so as early as possible to allow other interested members to get your slot.

- Before a ride we will ask you to formally register on the calendar. We are required to track names and contact information for all activities. Because we are operating in a special environment your ride leader will check that all members showing up at the start of the ride are registered on the website.

- Members are required to bring their own water bottles, sunscreen and personal food. Sharing food or passing items around is not allowed. Lending a face mask is also not a good practice.

- If you feel sick, please do not come.
