Open Water Clinic August 30th 10am at Aquatic Park (Main Bleachers)
Did you know the water in AP is warmest in September? Still a little nervous to hop in? Or just not swam in a while?
Then join us for a small group swim clinic with Coach Megan Tobin. The session will focus on building confidence in the water as well as introductory skills for folks who are new to open water or who haven’t been swimming their way through lockdown. We’ll also have a paddleboarder on hand for added safety.
Megan is an experienced triathlon coach with a passion for getting athletes into open water. Beyond coaching, she is also an active triathlete and GGTC member having qualified for the 70.3 World Championships as well as the USAT Nationals.
The cost of the session is $15 and Megan is offering a discount of 20% for one to one followups from this session.
GGTC takes safety very seriously and numbers for this event will be limited to ensure social distancing. As with other events, we require that masks are worn until you enter the water and maintain 6’ distance at all times.
