Mt. Tam

Type: beginner

43 mi 4,241ft of climb

Start: 11:00am at the Presidio Sports Basement

Yes you read that right. BEGINNER.

What you ask?

Allow me to explain. It's September. You've got a summer full of covid enabled cycling under your bib. If you can do Hawk, you can do Tam.

I will give a short motivating pep talk, make sure contestants are fed hydrated, and mentally prepared.

We will take down Tam in Stages regrouping at the South End of the Bridge, The North End of the Bridge. Mill Valley Equator (for Coffee). Four Corners, Pantoll, Ridgecrest Road, and East Peak. I will ride at the pace of the slowest rider. No single section is as hard as Hawk Hill, and you will get rest between the sections.

Want to go faster? Fine by me.

If you've never done TAM, don't delay! put a full summer of cycling, and our currently long days to work for you.
