Sunday is the first ever GGTC Turkey Trot. Why is this relevant to a jaunt through Tiburon you ask? Allow me to explain. We roll at this ungodly hour so you people can attend the turkey trot and related social.
Join Ambassador Wada for an intermediate paced roll through Tiburon via the famous Paradise Loop. There will not be a sweep on this ride, but there will be a number of regroup spots, the pace will be middling, with a low gear and high cadence (there's 5,000 meters to be run upon completion).
Cyclist will depart Golden Gate Triathlon Club Sponsor THE PRESIDIO SPORTS BASEMENT at 7:00am sharp. Our sponsors are not open at that hour. Make sure you've got fully inflated tires, hydration, food, gear, etc.
Upon crossing the deserted at that hour Golden Gate Bridge and cycling through Sausalito riders will trudge up and over Camino Alto. Having completed Camino Alto, and realizing we are running late riders will pick up the pace, moving as switfly as possible so that we don't arrive late to the day's main event.
Depending on time riders will stop for Coffee at Ca(f)fé Acri. The ride back to SF will be an open forum on 5k strategy, with related grumblng on the not quite flat nature of the course.
What to bring:
Helemt, Face Covering, ID, Cash, Card, Tire Change tools, Cold Weather Gear, Hydration. Optional: If you are running, a running costume, running shoes, CANS OF FOOD FOR THE TURKEY TROT FOOD DRIVE (bonus points if you bag and can a Camino Alto Wild Turkey) and related items. I'm driving. If you must, you can store running stuff in my car.

COVID RULES
- 6ft social distancing at all times.
- Limited to a maximum of 10 members (including the ride organizer [me]).
- We are required to track names and contact information for all activities. Because we are operating in a special environment I will check that all members showing up at the start of the ride are registered on the website.
- If you feel sick, please do not come.
