Are you grav-curious? Wondering why everyone bought a gravel bike in 2020? Why is it that people enjoy getting their drive-train all grubby when they could be riding on slick roads?
Wonder no more. Join ambassador Hannah for some no-drop gravel shenanigans through Golden Gate Park and the Presidio! Where: Conservatory of Flowers
How long will this take: It's about 24 miles. But things are slower with gravel - expect 2hrs.
What do I bring: A bicycle! Preferably a gravel bike - 28cc tires (or larger!) should be great. Yes, you can ride a road bike; yes it may be slightly sketchy but there are also roads nearby if it just gets too much. Plus a water bottle! Maybe a snacksie! Stuff to fix a flat! Not white kit! A smile on your melon! What if people are too fast? This ride will be about as no-drop as you can get. We'll explore gravel basics, get people comfortable with dirt and talk about our desires to get off the beaten path. We'll go as slow as people want.

COVID things: Let's enjoy the freedom, space and clean air that GGP has to offer. We'll ride in a distancy sort of way. If you've been feeling ill, or have tested positive recently, or have been around ill people - please don't come - it's common sense!
