Ambassador Aaron has hired Odyssey Open Water (https://www.odysseyopenwater.com/) for a private Alcatraz Swim. We have a few more spots on our boat! Here are the details. WHEN: Saturday, July 30th @ 5:45AM
WHERE: Hyde St. Pier (2905 Hyde St., San Francisco, CA, 94109, US)
WHAT: We will be carried by boat to the island and then jump off and swim into Aquatic Park itself (this is a unique route, not swimming to St. Francis Yacht.) The swim is about 3000 yards and up to 45 minutes-ish.
HOW MUCH: Roughly $200.
We will have boat and kayak support and they will tell us where to sight and swim, as well as work with the coast guard to make sure we are safe. This is the third time Aaron has hired this company.
*** You will want to have lots of open water experience (some outside AP would be great) and your pace should be around 2:00 per 100 yards or faster. Registering here will not grant you a spot. Aaron will send you a separate link to register and pay.
