For those doing the Marin Triathlon on October 29th, join ambassador Aaron for a sneak peak and course tips. He has done this race multiple times. We will meet in the parking lot at 9am to mimic more or less the time of day of the event.

Although the tides are not favorable for a swim preview, we will discuss the route as well as the transitions. (The bay here is warm and calm but can get muddy / impossible to get in during low tide and like a treadmill with ebb / flood going the wrong way. For race day I strongly recommend neoprene booties because there are SHARP rocks that WILL cut you on contact.)

We will do the bike course, take a quick break, and do the run course! Please make sure to bring your helmet, bike shoes, run shoes, nutrition, and hydration!

If you are only doing the sprint or want to taper, no problem! Both courses involve several 'loop' options and can be easily shortened. You can hang out and wait for us to finish, so bring a book or some games on your phone, or a fishing pole, haha.

There will be plenty of parking in the lot and your bikes will be pretty safe, especially if you can put them in your vehicle, but this area is pretty free from thievery. The lot charges $5 per day at the gate. No pets are allowed.

The run route is new and changed this year. I will go over the previous route and what I understand the new current route to be.

Optional possible beers / lunch somewhere afterwards! Or, I'm open to bringing a cooler and having a picnic. It is a lovely park. Questions? Text Aaron at 415-209-4113.
