RIDE: Cañada Road into Portola Valley

Join highly experienced, but not very fast, veteran member, Matthew Elke on a no drop beginner/intermediate ride along Cañada Road into Portola Valley. Round trip is ~25 miles

Meet at 8:30 at the Cañada Rd cycling parking lot.  Rolling out at 8:45.

Matthew is a bit of a Neanderthal Luddite who doesn’t use strava, so this google map will show the route.   It is an out and back ride down Cañada Rd to Woodside, where we will will hook up with Mountain Home Rd.  We will Head into Portola Valley, making a right onto Portola Rd and continuing until reaching the dead end into Alpine Rd.  We will Turn around at the little shopping center by Portola Valley Hardware and Feed.

Depending on participant numbers carpooling may be necessary. If you are coming, please text me and let me know if you either need a ride with your bike or whether you can take any additional people and their bike(s).   I myself can take one extra person and their bike
