It's Saturday, and every Saturday is Bike Day! Grab your favorite two-wheeled friend and join Ambassador Nick on a ride to celebrate.
Over the bay and through the woods, to Marin County we go! Take in some fresh air and fire up those climbing legs as we do a classic Muir Woods loop. Meeting at the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center, we'll coast through Sausalito and Mill Valley before winding our way up to Four Corners. The next few miles will be a fun figure 8 as we descend down Highway 1 to the coast and climb back up to Four Corners via Muir Woods Road. From there, it's a nice easy descent back down Highway 1 towards Tam Junction, leading us back to SF.
I'll be keeping the pace intermediate, although everyone should be comfortable climbing 2300+ feet over the course of this 30-mile ride. As a semi-drop ride, there will be occasional regroups. For the stronger riders looking for a longer day, there are plenty of opportunities to add on a detour to Stinson, East Peak, P-Loop, or even some bonus Hawk Hills!
