Join Maurizio for an advanced ride to the top of Mount Tam, via Muir and Stinson Beach.
Start at GGB Visitor Center at 7.50 to roll at 8 am sharp.
Ride distance: 45.6 miles
Total elevation: 4,350ft
Speed: Uphill 5-8 mph, Average expected 13 mph.
Expected time: 4 hours in the saddle.
This is a drop ride, no sweeping unless there is a volunteer to do so.
Route to follow: Sausalito, Arco Station in MV, left uphill on Shoreline highway, then straight to Hwy1 downhill to Muir. Will turn left to keep on Hwy 1 all the way to Stinson.
Regroup at Stinson Beach general store.
Will go back on Hwy one southbound, left on Panoramic to pantoll ranger station; left on Pantoll to the top of Tam.
Will return to MV by turning left on Panoramic way.
