Must knows about the ride:

1. ~30 mile section on Mines Road from Highway 130 to Livermore has very low car traffic. While it means we will have a beautiful ride, it also significantly limits bail out options. Please carry all essentials to fix a flat.

2.  Mines road also has no supplies. Please carry two to three water bottles, and make sure to fill them up at Mt. Hamilton and if needed, at The Rainbow Junction restaurant which is the start of the Mines Road (I read on Bike Forum and Reddit that that restaurant people are pretty nice about refilling water bottles). If the restaurant is closed/unwilling to give us water, we can also try the Cal Fire station half a mile down the road which a Reddit user claimed to stock a few gallon jugs for bikers outside the building.
