What to expect:
Join us as we tackle the backside of Tam going through Fairfax and crossing Alpine Dam! Perfect continued introduction for folks getting used to all the backroads in the Marin Headlands.
We'll regroup at key turns and intersections, but these will be brief to keep the pace and so our legs don’t cramp up! This will be a climb at your own pace so please download the route and know the regroup points in advance. It is likely folks will become spaced out during climbs.
We’ll refuel at Equator Coffee in Sausalito with some pastries, carbs, and a caffeine boost to get back over the GGB :)
This can be a long climb for first timers so please come prepared with enough nutrition to refuel on your way up Tam. There is water and a bathroom at the Pantoll Ranger Station. Please download the route and come prepared according to the essentials checklist on our website!
