Welcome to GGTC’s Long Distance Program (LDP)!

If you are looking to take the next step in your triathlon training, the Long Distance Training Program may be for you. 

Perhaps you have been doing Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons and are looking to move up in distance. Maybe you excel at either swimming, cycling, or running and are looking for a program to refine the other disciplines. Led by coaches, Jaffa Prince and Tim Fleming, the Long Distance Program is designed to give you the skills and experience to successfully complete a 70.3.

This 10-week program will follow a structure of 3 group, coached workouts per week along with additional on-your-own workouts. This program is designed specifically to match your level of fitness and ability.

PROGRAM COMPONENTS:

  • 3 coached group workouts / week (Wednesday evening track workouts and Saturday and Sunday morning workouts)
  • Weekly training program delivered via TrainingPeaks
  • Equipment overview, evaluation, and recommendations
  • The opportunity to travel, train, and race with the team
  • Clinics that cover topics associated with completing a 70.3 distance triathlon
  • Course Preview
  • Additional e-mail/Slack support to answer any questions
