Handling Clinic: Standing up & Single-hand riding

Note: If there are fewer than 5 people signed up, we will cancel this clinic.

We are combining the curriculum from the prior clinic into this one so we have enough people to hold this! This clinic is for people who want to learn how to ride out of the saddle or who want to be able to ride with one hand. In this clinic, we will cover:

• Safety: When to and when not to get out of the saddle
• Standing up: Progression, starting at getting used to the feeling and ending at pedaling out of the saddle

• Safety: Manual signaling for cars or windy conditions when you can't hear each other
• Drinking/eating: One-handed biking 
• Grabbing race nutrition from aid stations

• When: 7:00am
• Where: Inspiration Point parking lot in the Presidio
