    Join Bike Director Hannah for a regular Wednesday morning Hawk Hill ride, with optional coffee at Equator in Fort Mason afterwards. Everyone is welcome, there is no set pace - you can go as hard or as easy as you like. We will regroup at the top!

    We meet at the Welcome Center at 6:15am, head up Hawk, look at the view, post pictures of the sunrise on Insta, and then head back over the bridge to a warming cuppa Joe at Equator!

    Join us for our weekly coached swim workouts with Christina Bechtel at Mission Pool.  Please meet on the pool deck before 7PM for practice.

     Open to all abilities and experience levels.  The group is split into 4 lanes starting from beginners to experienced.  Mission pool is outdoors (no need for a wetsuit, just a bathingsuit). Bring a towel and lock if you want to store your stuff.

    Can’t make it to strength on Tuesday mornings? Need motivation to get those extra push-ups in? Join us for an Ambassador-led strength workout before swim practice on Thursdays.

    We'll meet at the paved area in front of Mission Pool to do 30 minutes of strength and leave enough time to get ready before swim practice at 7:00 pm.

    Work or live in Marin? Just passing through? Come get your faster-paced intervals done with us in Terra Linda at 6pm every Tuesday eve until it starts getting dark. We'll either ride out to China Camp, do some time trial intervals on Lucas Valley Rd, or Ride out towards Nicasio and back for solid 55 - 90min workout. We can play it by ear and decide when you show up. Please be sure to register so we know to look for you. We roll no later than 6:15pm.

    Everyone and all paces are welcome.

    Street parking is plentiful on Nova Albion and Montecillo Rd between Kaiser parking lot A and Nazareth House.

    Registration for our Occidental  Training Weekend (formerly Wildflower Training Weekend) is open. Early bird registration fees are $160 and covers 2 nights in a cabin, all meals on Saturday, and Sunday brunch until Friday, April 12th. Thereafter, registration fees will increase to $175. Workouts, fun and shenanigans are free of charge.  Non-member registration is $185. Priority preference will be given for cabin type and roommates to those who register by April 12, 2019.

    Carpools will be coordinated for those who need assistance with transportation.

    Join us Friday Morning for 30 mins of Strength followed by an AP swim.

    We'll follow the OLY strength program which takes about 20-30mins and then dive in for a perimeter swim (assuming conditions are good).

    There will be no one to guard our stuff  but there is the option to use the South End Rowing Club facilities for $10 (Includes hot shower and sauna!). 

    Meet at the bleachers at 6am for strength or by the rowing club at 6:40am if you want to join just for the swim.

    Cant join the fun at training camp?? Join a few ambassadors for this incredibly scenic yet challenging ride among green grasses, dairy cows, and sheep. Sorry ...this is not a beginner ride. 

    Im not in the best bike shape so I'll be taking it slow. 4,000 Feet of climbing with Wilson hill at the very end can get ya!

    Head down to Half Moon Bay to preview the bike course for both the Sprint and Olympic distances w/Ambassador Madi K! **If you need a ride, let me (Madi) know! I can take 2-3 others  240-672-4459** 

    Meet in the parking lot by Half Moon Bay Kayak Co.

    We will ride the Sprint course at 7:30am (meet at 7:15), and then head out for the Olympic course at 8:30. 

    Yes, it's early :), but we learned from last year that Highway 1 gets tricky with a bunch of traffic and as always, safety first! 

    If you're racing the Sprint, meet at 7:15 for your ride, and then do a run afterwards along the Sprint course!

    If you're doing the Oly, you can either meet at 7:15 and ride the Sprint course as a warmup or for some extra time in the saddle before we ride the Oly course, or just meet at 8:15. After we're done with the Oly course you can get in a transition run along the Oly course.

    Chico Velo Cycling Club is holding a Wildflower Century event on Sunday, April 28. See details below!

    Held at the Silver Dollar Fair Ground in Chico, CA. The Chico Velo Wildflower Century is our biggest fundraiser of the year with all proceeds going directly towards our bicycle outreach and education in Butte County. The first ride began in 1981 on a very rainy day with a handful of riders and one route option. Today the ride attracts thousands of riders from all over the world partaking in one of seven different route options ranging from 12 miles to 125 miles throughout scenic Butte County. Riders challenge themselves with hill climbs and/or enjoy flat roads through the almond orchards. We are excited to announced that retired professional cyclist Tyler Hamilton will be riding in the Wildflower Century this year!

    Ladies of GGTC come join the Women For Tri group for a night to discuss Nutrition while training and racing with Dietitian Dorette Franks.

    The clinic will be held on Monday April 29th at 6:30pm, at Presidio Sports Basement Big Room.

    Dorette is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and founder of Nutrition Ph. She is also a Health Education Instructor II, USA Triathlon and USA Track & Field Certified Level I Coach, and a competitive age-group endurance athlete. Dorette's key specialties and interests as a dietitian include sports nutrition, weight management, and disease prevention.

    Wildflower is known all over the world for its festival like atmosphere, challenging couses and some of the most energetic collegiate volunteers. It's also been called the "Burning Man of triathlon" 

    GGTC will announce its presence in force in all the race distances. We'll train, carpool, camp and cheer together. Wildflower long course is the target race for the HIT program coached by Cesar Valera.

    Bike to Work Day (BTWD) is a celebration of bicycles as a fun and healthy way to get to work, as well as an opportunity for those who don’t usually commute by bike to try it out! 

    In honor of BTWD, we are hosting our 3rd annual detour to the top of Hawk Hill to sip mimosas and take in the sunrise over the Golden Gate Bridge.

    Meet up at the GGB Welcome Center (Roundhouse Cafe) at 6am to roll out with us at 6:15am. We will stop at the first energizer station (free coffee, free bagels, and bike gear) right before the end of the bridge on the Marin side. The ride will wrap up around 7:30am and everyone is welcome to continue as a group around the Embarcadero towards the FiDi or peel off to go about their morning commutes at any time. 

    All cycling levels are welcome and encouraged to join on this no-drop ride. We also have a few extra bikes available for those who want to give it a try but don't have the means to do so. Message me directly for more info :)

    Bring out your leis, grass skirts and board shorts and join GGTC as we cheer on and support our fellow athletes at IRONMAN Santa Rosa 140.6 on Saturday, May 11th. We will be out there taking over Run Aid Station #5 located along the Santa Rosa Creek Trail. We will have three shifts to choose from so there will be plenty of opportunities to come out and show your support!

    Remember, you can sign up for multiple shifts - the more, the merrier!

    PLEASE NOTE - volunteers will also have to directly register with IronMan. There is currently a problem with the system but we are working on getting it fixed.

    Welcome to GGTC’s Half Ironman Distance training Program! This training program is designed for summer races, primarily IRONMAN Santa Rosa 70.3, but also. This program is designed specifically to match your level of fitness and ability.

    We’re looking for people ready to take on a great journey to complete half IRONMAN 70.3 distance. Racers will swim 1.2 miles, bike 56 miles and run 13.1 miles.

    Swim in Lady Bird Lake, with the spectacular backdrop of the downtown Austin skyline. The bike heads north to the Texas Capitol, return through the heart of downtown Austin. Then finish off with a run through Butler Park and the Palmer Events Center before the rousing finish and lively post-race party at Auditorium Shores!

    Life Time Tri Minneapolis "Race the Lakes"

    Swim in the calm, warm waters of Lake Nokomis. Ride a rolling tour of scenic, tree lined parklands and friendly neighborhoods along the Minnehaha Parkway. The Bike Course is 100% closed to traffic. Finish off by running a gorgeous loop around Lake Nokomis. International distance athletes will complete two loops before finishing, while Sprint athletes complete one.
